Email header analyzer
Headers explain best why a message went to spam or arrived late. The tool reads the Authentication-Results line, the DKIM signature and the Received chain, works out alignment itself and tables the wait between servers. The text is sent to no server.
Loading the tool…
This tool runs in your browser and needs JavaScript.
How to use it
- Paste the headers of the problem message (in Gmail: “Show original”).
- Press the run button. Results are listed separately as definite problems, possible issues, unverifiable and passed; each finding shows what was found, what it means, the fix and the limits of the check.
- Apply the suggested fix and run the tool again to confirm. Use “Copy result” to add the report to a support ticket.
Example
If a newsletter went to spam and its DKIM signature uses the mailing service's own domain, the tool shows that DMARC alignment was not achieved. The “Example” button in the form fills in a scenario like this and shows the result immediately.
Scope and limits
The analysis is based only on the text you pasted and runs in your browser. The lower Received headers can be fabricated by the sender; only lines added by your own receiving server should be treated as certain.
Your inputs are not added to the address bar or passed to analytics, and result pages are not indexed by search engines.
