Disk space planner
Disk usage is more than site files; mailboxes and backups forgotten in the account often take the largest share. The planner calculates each component separately, compounds monthly growth, adds headroom for logs and caches and compares the result with the disk space of the current plans.

How to use it
- Enter site files, media count and average size, database, mailboxes and growth rate.
- Press the run button. Results are listed separately as definite problems, possible issues, unverifiable and passed; each finding shows what was found, what it means, the fix and the limits of the check.
- Apply the suggested fix and run the tool again to confirm. Use “Copy result” to add the report to a support ticket.
Example
For a 1.2 GB site with five mailboxes and one full backup kept in the account, the tool shows that email makes up over half the total and that the backup should move off the account. The “Example” button in the form fills in a scenario like this and shows the result immediately.
Scope and limits
The calculation is based on your inputs and runs in your browser. Measure real usage in cPanel › Disk Usage.
Your inputs are not added to the address bar or passed to analytics, and result pages are not indexed by search engines.
