Redirect rule builder
When you restructure a site, old addresses must point to the right new pages for visitors and search engines alike. The builder writes page redirects together with HTTPS and www preferences, and catches rules that point at each other, needless chains and rules open to redirecting visitors elsewhere before generating any code.

This tool runs in your browser and needs JavaScript.
How to use it
- Choose the domain and server type and write one redirect per line (/old /new).
- Press the run button. Results are listed separately as definite problems, possible issues, unverifiable and passed; each finding shows what was found, what it means, the fix and the limits of the check.
- Apply the suggested fix and run the tool again to confirm. Use “Copy result” to add the report to a support ticket.
Example
If /a redirects to /b and /b by mistake back to /a, the tool reports the loop as a definite problem and shows step by step which rules a test URL passes through. The “Example” button in the form fills in a scenario like this and shows the result immediately.
Scope and limits
Rules are built and checked in your browser; your site is not queried. Only plain paths and a trailing * are accepted; inputs are never run as regular expressions.
Your inputs are not added to the address bar or passed to analytics, and result pages are not indexed by search engines.
