Domain lifecycle (RDAP)
When a domain expires, whether it can be transferred or whether it is on hold is written in its status codes. The tool queries the official RDAP service registered with IANA for the extension, explains the status codes and counts the days to expiry. If the registry does not publish a field, it is not guessed.

This tool runs in your browser and needs JavaScript.
How to use it
- Enter the domain you want to look up.
- Press the run button. Results are listed separately as definite problems, possible issues, unverifiable and passed; each finding shows what was found, what it means, the fix and the limits of the check.
- Apply the suggested fix and run the tool again to confirm. Use “Copy result” to add the report to a support ticket.
Example
If you want to move a newly registered .com to another registrar, the tool shows the date on which ICANN's 60-day transfer restriction ends. The “Example” button in the form fills in a scenario like this and shows the result immediately.
Scope and limits
Data comes from the official registry server listed for this TLD in IANA's RDAP directory. Fields that are not published stay empty and are never guessed. Personal contact data is not shown.
Your inputs are not added to the address bar or passed to analytics, and result pages are not indexed by search engines.
