A hard-to-guess password is the first step of account security. This tool creates passwords with your browser's cryptographic random number generator without sending them anywhere, includes at least one character of each chosen type and shows the estimated strength in bits.

How to use it
- Choose the password length, how many and which character types to use.
- Press the run button. Results are listed separately as definite problems, possible issues, unverifiable and passed; each finding shows what was found, what it means, the fix and the limits of the check.
- Apply the suggested fix and run the tool again to confirm. Use “Copy result” to add the report to a support ticket.
Example
Generate five 24-character passwords without look-alike letters for your cPanel account and save one in your password manager. The “Example” button in the form fills in a scenario like this and shows the result immediately.
Scope and limits
Passwords are generated only in your browser and disappear when you close the page; they never reach our servers or analytics.
Your inputs are not added to the address bar or passed to analytics, and result pages are not indexed by search engines.
